There is always going to be Proles, just like there will always be Jackbooted Alpha Thugs and their associated power structures.
I am not disagreeing on that central point.
I am just saying that this particular incantation of the Prole / JB Alpha system and American exceptionalism isn't going to last. Maybe we'll all end up in some sort of neo-feudalism, where we are forced to literally work the fields for food?
The new Alpha thugs will be in the far and middle East, you know, where they have all the oil and build everything?
Who knows? Maybe our own thugs will move east and set up shop to run there old swindles? I doubt it though, those parts of the world have their own ideas of jackbooted thugary and have no use for armies of financial sharpies and grifters.
