Nothing lasts forever, Ras.

There are a million and one things that can and will ultimately de-rail this particular Ponzi scheme. It nearly happened in '08 with a stupid stock market 'dislocation'.

Political instability. Military coups. China / Iran / Russian coalitions. Oil market shocks. Home grown rebellion. Or some bizarre, esoteric combination.

I maintain, there is going to be, at some point in the future, a 'series of unfortunate events' out of left field that unravels the entire system. It is anyones guess what particular straw will be placed upon the camel back that will ultimately break it.

Will it happen 5 years from now?
Dec 12 2012?
50 years from now, after the Cubs win a world series?
Next month?
Who knows?

Peak oil. 6 billion non-American proles living in striking poverty. US military aggression. Nuclear proliferation.

These are all problems that are bigger than any printing press and Ponzi-finance system.
